Plaza de Canadá embodies the pursuit of knowledge and education, a cherished value shared by Canada and Uruguay. Rooted in epistemology, my proposal represents the process of acquiring knowledge. The journey begins with curiosity. Faced with an imposing structure and a narrow entrance, visitors feel drawn in. Inside, one is confronted with the realization that the path forward is unknown. Compressed within the space, one must embrace vulnerability—accepting mistakes as necessary steps toward learning and growth. As one progresses, the space opens, revealing the boundless possibilities of knowledge. Here, knowledge is tangible, while learning remains ever-evolving, an intangible force shaping one’s understanding. One continues forward, exploring a vast landscape of people and art, until one reaches a moment of reflection. Now, the visitor can look both inward—examining themselves—and outward, engaging with the world. In this moment, one reflects on what they know and embraces the limitless ideas still waiting to be discovered.
