Minnow’s Meadow

Minnow’s Meadow aims to create a vibrant communal hub that embodies the dynamic and fluid movement much like a school of minnows; fostering connection, collaboration, and community engagement. To do this we incorporated large courtyard spaces that would host a mix of different events, making it a 5 minute community. With the Trillium line right next door this community becomes a bright accessible community that allows you to have everything you need. And anything that isn’t there, the train can take you to your next adventure. Our site considers people like a school of fish swimming as one and that's why we wanted to create such an integrated shared space, where no matter who you might be you would be welcomed into our community. The work shown was done by me but the ideas and design was created in collaboration with Johnson Luu.
